Soil Mixes

General Soil Mix
A composted mixture of sawdust, & cow manure. Can be used for vegetable gardens and general garden use when mixed in with existing soil. Can be lightly applied to lawns for top dressing, must be well watered in. Unscreened product, may have some oversize. |
Potting Mix
A composted mixture of sand, sawdust and pine bark fines. Urea is used during the composting process to provide a nitrogen source. Used by rose nurseries for potting roses. More acidic than soil mix, can be used for growing roses, ferns, azaleas and camellias. May be used where a more free draining soil is required. |
Soil Improver with Cow Manure
A lovely dark coloured, rich composted soil. Composted with Cow Manure for additional nutrient content. Good for use in vegie gardens, under new lawns or general garden use. Ideal to mix in with heavier soils |
